Position: Node.js Developer (Independent Contractor)

Location: Remote (India)

Key Responsibilities:

- Backend Development: Design and maintain scalable applications using Node.js.

- API Development: Create and manage RESTful APIs, integrate third-party services.

- Database Management: Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Performance Optimization: Enhance application performance and scalability.

- Security Best Practices: Implement and maintain security measures.

- Code Quality: Write clean code, conduct reviews, and mentor junior developers.

- Collaboration: Work with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders.

*Required Qualifications:*

- 8+ years of experience in Node.js development.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express.js).

- Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Proven API design and management skills.

- Proficiency with Git and testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Chai).

- Knowledge of security best practices and cloud platforms (Docker, AWS).

*Preferred Qualifications:*

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (React.js, Angular).

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
