Role Description
We are looking for a Lead Developer with a strong background in PHP, Ruby, and ReactJS to oversee the development of web applications from concept to deployment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both front-end and back-end technologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and guide a team of developers.
Experience: 5+ Years
Qualifications
Extensive experience with PHP and Ruby on Rails.- Deep understanding of ReactJS and its ecosystem (Redux, React Router, etc.).
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Strong experience with database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.- Leadership and Communication:
Proven experience leading and managing development teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in agile development methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to make strategic decisions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Skills:- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of web applications using PHP, Ruby on Rails, and ReactJS.- Set coding standards, perform code reviews, and enforce best practices in software development.
Architect and implement scalable and secure solutions that meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead the effort to resolve them.
Team Management:- Mentor and coach a team of developers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
Manage the development process, including task prioritization, sprint planning, and resource allocation.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and goals.- Ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
Technical Strategy:
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies.- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can enhance the development process.
