Job Overview: As a Frontend Technical Manager specializing in Semiconductor Chip Design, you will lead the front-end stages of integrated circuit development. This role requires expertise in digital design, verification, synthesis, power management, DFT, and project management. You will also oversee product support for the Pre-production and Post-production stages.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Execution
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to align project goals with business objectives.
- Monitor project progress and mitigate risks.
2. Verification Planning and Management
- Develop and execute robust verification strategies and plans.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of testbenches and verification environments.
3. Digital Verification
- Perform IP and 1-chip RTL verification, gate-level netlist verification, and multi-voltage domain verification using UPF.
4. Documentation
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
5. RTL Design and Integration
- Oversee the development and optimization of RTL code using Verilog or VHDL.
6. RTL Coding Guidelines and Code Review
- Enforce RTL coding guidelines and conduct code reviews for high-quality RTL code.
7. Clock Domain Crossing (CDC)
- Identify and resolve CDC issues to ensure proper synchronization between clock domains.
8. Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
9. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and stay updated with industry trends.
10. EDA Tools for Front End
- Ensure proficiency in using EDA tools specific to front-end design stages.
11. RTL Manipulation for DFT
- Enhance DFT capabilities and implement DFT-friendly coding practices.
12. Product Support
- Provide support for Pre-production and Post-production stages, addressing customer concerns and ensuring smooth transitions.
Qualifications:- 10-20 years of experience in semiconductor chip design.
- Expertise in digital design, verification, synthesis, power management, and DFT.
- Strong project management skills.
