Job Description
We are seeking a talented React.js/Next.js Developer with experience in WordPress to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have 4-5 years of experience in web development, with a primary focus on React.js/Next.js and a secondary focus on WordPress technologies. As a React.js/Next.js Developer with WordPress experience, you will play a crucial role in developing projects related to both technologies, working on independent projects that utilise React.js/Next.js and WordPress separately.
For React.js/Next.js Projects:
- Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces using React.js/Next.js.
- Collaborate closely with designers and other developers to implement engaging user experiences.
- Implement state management solutions such as Redux for complex applications.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Optimize web applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Stay updated on the latest React.js/Next.js trends, tools, and best practices.
For WordPress Projects:
- Design and implement custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Modify existing WordPress themes and plugins to add new features or enhance functionality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress development.
- Customize and extend WordPress functionalities using hooks, filters, and custom post types.
- Implement security best practices to protect WordPress websites from vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with clients or stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
Requirements:
- Experience with Docker and containerization techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in web development.
- Proficiency in React.js/Next.js and its core principles.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development workflows.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and state management libraries/tools for React.js/Next.js.
