Summary

Zolidar is looking to add a Front End Engineer to their founding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with modern front-end development frameworks and libraries. The Front End Engineer will develop solutions in the domains of conversational interfaces, AI copilot, autonomous agents, fintech, vertical SaaS, workflow automation, and online communities. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain front-end web applications by utilizing a modern front-end development stack such as: NextJS, Tailwind, tRPC, and Prisma

Implement responsive design principles to ensure that applications look and function well on all devices

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

Collaborate with back-end engineers to deliver complete products

Test and debug front-end code to ensure quality and reliability

Stay up-to-date on the latest front-end development trends and technologies

Be available for meetings and live virtual collaboration between 8:00 am to noon Pacific Time

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

4+ years of experience as a Front End Engineer

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript along with a sound understanding of core computer science principles with demonstrated ability to self-learn new design patterns by reading documentation

Advanced level of experience with any modern front-end development frameworks, libraries, and tools such as React, Angular, Typescript, Tailwind, Figma, etc

Strong understanding of concepts such as minimizing latency, optimizing payload, building search engine optimized front-end from day one, cache management, DOM loading techniques

Strong knowledge of evolving front-end engineering techniques across browsers, OS, and third-party APIs

Experience with responsive design and testing

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with unit testing and test-driven development

Bonus Qualifications

Experience building applications that handle substantial financial data

Experience building simple visual representations of financial data, workflows, and project plans

Experience building chatbots, autonomous agents, or conversational interfaces

Experience with prototype and growth hacking techniques to test out various form factors without the need to develop native applications

Experience with scrappy development teams that require wearing multiple hats

Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure

Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
