Job Description For Front Office Associate
A Front Office Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, managing reservations, and ensuring the smooth running of the front desk. The position involves greeting guests, assisting with reservations. The Front Office Associate must be knowledgeable about casino promotions, events, and amenities and be able to provide information to guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome, and provide excellent customer service throughout their stay.
- Greet guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Register and assign rooms to guests, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and room features to guests.
- Manage inventory and ensure that rooms are clean, well-maintained, and properly stocked with supplies.
- Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and in compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and billing information.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of guest invoices and receipts.
- Provide support to other hotel departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
- Attend training and development sessions as required, to develop skills and knowledge required for the role.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Min HSSC pass, diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
- Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating effectively with other departments.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be fluent in English, and any additional language is an advantage.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
The Front Office Associate is required to perform duties as necessary to meet the on-going needs of the organization. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, possess the ability to multitask and work well under pressure, and have a positive, friendly attitude.
