Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Front End Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a passion for creating seamless user experiences, and proficiency in modern front-end technologies, including WordPress and Shopify. As a Front End Developer at Globalsurf, you will be responsible for translating UI/UX designs into high-quality code and ensuring the technical feasibility of designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across browsers and devices.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across various devices.
- Develop and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress and Shopify development.
- Basic knowledge of PHP.
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, LESS).
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Proficient in version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- A portfolio of relevant projects or GitHub profile is a plus.
