We are seeking a skilled and creative Front-End Developer with expertise in Shopify and Magento to join our dynamic team. As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and visually appealing web experiences that enhance our e-commerce platforms. You will work closely with our design and back-end development teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality across all devices.
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Magento themes with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into functional front-end code.
- Optimize web pages for speed and scalability, ensuring fast load times and excellent user experience.
- Integrate third-party APIs and plugins as needed to extend the functionality of Shopify and Magento platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues and bugs.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development and e-commerce platforms.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-3 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on Shopify and Magento.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Liquid templating language for Shopify and PHP for Magento.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and how they apply to e-commerce websites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Understanding of back-end technologies and how they interact with front-end development.
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce is a plus.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
