Position Overview:
As a Front Desk Executive at our prestigious pediatric dental center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional patient experiences from the moment they walk through our doors. Responsibilities:
Greeting and Welcoming Patients:
- Welcome patients and their families with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Provide a positive and comfortable atmosphere to ease any anxieties or fears.
Appointment Scheduling and Confirmation:
- Efficiently schedule dental appointments for patients, ensuring optimal use of the dental team's time.
Confirm upcoming appointments via phone calls, emails, or text messages.
Patient Registration and Documentation:
- Accurately register new patients and update their records in the electronic health system.
Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary consent forms.
Managing Phone and Email Communication:
- Handle incoming phone calls and inquiries professionally, addressing patient concerns and answering general queries.
Respond to email inquiries and maintain prompt communication with patients.
Coordinating Patient Flow:
- Ensure smooth patient flow by coordinating with the dental team to minimize waiting times.
Maintain a neat and organized reception area to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Maintaining Inventory and Supplies:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of office supplies, ensuring essential items are always available.
Coordinate with suppliers to order necessary materials and maintain cost-effectiveness.
Handling Administrative Tasks:
- Assist in handling administrative tasks, such as data entry, report generation, and other office-related duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; additional education or certifications in healthcare administration is a plus.
Previous experience in dental or medical front desk role is preferred.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, parents, and the dental team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Proficiency in using computer software and electronic health record systems.
Empathy and patience in dealing with young patients and their families.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
