Description
We are seeking a talented and driven Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science or a related field, and will have a passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in their career.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals
- Install and configure hardware and software components
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions
- Assist with the implementation of new technology initiatives
- Provide training and support to end-users
- Ensure all systems are secure and up-to-date with the latest patches and upgrades
- Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as backups and updates
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Experience with desktop hardware and software troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure is a plus
