Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker to join our team at Ditinus Technology Private Ltd. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of cargo for our clients, negotiating rates with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery. This is a full-time position based in Mohali, Punjab, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with freight management and transportation systems
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the movement of cargo for clients, ensuring timely transportation and delivery
- Negotiate rates with carriers and establish contracts for shipping services
- Handle all aspects of the freight brokerage process, from sourcing carriers to tracking shipments
- Manage customer relationships and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions
- Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the freight transportation process
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
