Job Summary
Lumos Digital Consulting is seeking a skilled freelance website developer who is proficient in both backend and frontend development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WordPress, Shopify, and other major CMS platforms. This is a remote, freelance position, with the potential for ongoing collaboration as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance websites using WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS platforms.
- Collaborate with our design team to implement engaging and functional user interfaces.
- Customize themes, plugins, and templates as needed for clients unique requirements.
- Work on both frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend (PHP, MySQL) development tasks.
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize websites for performance, and ensure mobile compatibility.
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with WordPress and Shopify development.
- Strong understanding of both backend and frontend development.
- Knowledge of website optimization techniques (e.g., SEO, speed optimization).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with other platforms like Magento, WooCommerce, or custom CMS is a plus.
