As a Freelance Senior UI/UX Designer, you will work as an individual contributor, driving the UI/UX initiatives for our digital products. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to design engaging, user-centered interfaces that align with our brand vision and enhance the overall customer experience. This is a hands-on role that requires a blend of creative design expertise, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Design Projects: As an individual contributor, you'll take ownership of end-to-end design processes, from research to final implementation.
- Collaborate with Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing team to align designs with branding, campaigns, and overall user engagement strategies.
- Design for Web and Mobile: Create responsive, user-friendly designs for web and mobile applications using tools like Balsamiq, Figma, and Adobe Suite.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to demonstrate design concepts and user flows.
- User Research & Testing: Conduct user research (including usability testing, surveys, and interviews) to gather feedback and improve designs.
- Ensure Consistency: Maintain visual consistency across digital platforms while adhering to LYBL's design principles and branding guidelines.
- Iterative Design Process: Continuously iterate and improve designs based on feedback from stakeholders and user insights.
- Time Management: Handle multiple design projects, meeting deadlines and ensuring timely delivery.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5-8 years of proven experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects.
- Expertise in Figma, Balsamiq, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and hands-on experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
- Experience working closely with marketing teams to ensure design aligns with strategic brand messaging, campaigns, and customer engagement.
- A solid understanding of UI patterns, mobile-first design, and responsive design principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively as a freelancer, delivering high-quality results on time.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present design concepts clearly to non-design stakeholders.
