Summary:

We are seeking a Freelance Power BI Developer to enhance our reporting capabilities and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring seamless integration with our data infrastructure. This role involves collaborating closely with business development, data engineering, and analytics teams to turn raw data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and visual storytelling.
• Build and maintain data models for reporting purposes, ensuring accuracy and scalability.
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate external data from web scraping and other sources into Power BI.
• Optimise and enhance existing Power BI reports to improve performance and user experience.
• Work closely with data scientists and finance analysts to ensure the data models meet analytical requirements and business needs.
• Implement data transformation and cleaning processes using Power Query and DAX.
• Schedule and automate report updates and data refresh processes using Power Automate.
• Create and deploy Power BI reports within Azure as an app for seamless access.
• Connect Power BI with external data sources, including Google Sheets, OData connectors, and other APIs.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Power BI development.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and M language for data manipulation and transformation.
• Experience with Power BI Service, including publishing reports, managing workspaces, and implementing security roles.
• Familiarity with SQL for querying databases and integrating external datasets.
• Power Automate experience for automating report refreshes and workflows.
• Ability to build and deploy Power BI Embedded Reportswithin Azure
• Knowledge of connecting Power BI to external sources like Google Sheets, OData connectors, and other APIs.
• Other BI Tools: Knowledge of Tableau, Qlik, or other BI tools is an advantage.
• Experience with data security and privacy measures;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• 2+ years of experience in PowerBI;
• 2+ years of experience in Power Automate;
• 1+ Years of Experience in PowerBI Embedded
• 2 Years of Experience in Microsoft Azure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines;
