Focus Edumatics is seeking online tutors to join our growing freelance tutor community across Math, English, Language Arts, and Science. In this role, you will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with K-12 students in the United States, delivering personalized instruction, providing academic support, and creating a nurturing environment. Strong time management, problem-solving, technical proficiency, and exceptional English communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Compensation And Benefits
- Rs 200 per completed session-hour. Earn Rs 40,000+ per month based on volume and performance. Training, retention, and performance-based bonuses based on quality, volume, and peak hour coverage.

NOTE: this position does not currently provide Paid Leave, Health Insurance, Retirement Programs, or other employee allowances.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive online tutoring sessions for K-12 students within designated hours through personalized learning plans based on students grade level, needs, and academic goals.
- Utilize diverse online instructional strategies, tools, and resources to create an interactive and stimulating learning experience, adapting when necessary to drive student growth.
- Provide clear and effective instruction, guidance, and feedback to enhance students comprehension and to inform future tutoring sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including attendance, progress notes, and relevant information to deliver comprehensive progress reports.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders and colleagues to review QA analysis, session KPIs, and overall performance to continuously improve yourself and your team.
- Perform any assigned or necessary additional duties.
Role Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old with a bachelor's degree.
- Fluent in English (CEFR Level B2 or higher) and demonstrate a mastery in Math (Basic Math; Pre-Algebra; Algebra; Geometry; Trigonometry; Pre-Calculus; Calculus; ACT/SAT) or English Language Arts (English; Literature; Writing ACT/SAT English & Reading)
- At least 1 year of English-based in-classroom or virtual teaching experience.
- Must clear through intensive 4 to 6-week Certification training and account screening process.
