Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced freelance lawyer to join our team on a project basis. As a freelance lawyer specializing in IT contracts and corporate agreements, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents critical to our business operations. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our contracts and agreements meet legal requirements and protect the interests of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing IT contracts, including but not limited to:
- Master service agreements
- Master software agreements
- Statements of Work (SOW)
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Software licensing agreements
- Data privacy agreements
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives for each contract or agreement.
- Conducting legal research to stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
- Providing legal advice and guidance to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Reviewing corporate agreements and legal documents related to corporate governance, intellectual property, and other business matters.
Requirements:
- LLB/ LLM with a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on IT contracts and corporate agreements.
- Proven track record of drafting and negotiating complex contracts and agreements.
- Strong understanding of IT and technology-related legal issues, including data privacy, intellectual property, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Prior experience in Investment Banking/ Risk Management company is a plus.
