Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Content Editor to join our Marketing department. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in content editing, preferably in a fast-paced environment. The Content Editor will be responsible for reviewing and editing marketing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, social media posts, and email campaigns
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging and compelling content that drives brand awareness and customer engagement
- Ensure all content is accurate, grammatically correct, and consistent with brand guidelines
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in content editing
- Work closely with designers and other team members to ensure content is visually appealing and on-brand
- Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in content editing, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency
- Strong attention to detail and excellent grammar and writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with content management systems and SEO best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
