What you will do
The Franchise Marketing Lead- Skin & Oral Health is responsible for developing and executing the annual marketing plan, making recommendations for the development of company marketing strategy, and identifying new markets and applications to assure volume growth. As the Franchise Lead, you will also provide leadership on key business issues and oversee the development of sales processes and pricing models.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Skin & Oral Health Vision and market strategies in alignment with the company's overall objectives. Seek opportunities for brand extensions and portfolio enhancement. Be accountable for healthy franchise growth in terms of financials, brand-wise profitability targets, brand equity measures and product portfolio.
- Create and manage the franchise marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI.
- Lead the interaction with the regional and global teams to ensure Indias needs are articulated clearly and provide a clear strategic direction for India that aligns the entire organization against a common goal. Additionally, as a lead market for Neutrogena, shape the global strategy & innovation pipeline that represents the ambitious growth expectations backed by deep local insights.
- Develop and oversee the execution of an efficient Integrated Marketing Plan that is aligned with the defined Global Brand Spotlight & Positioning. Balance the global focus with the local needs of India and deliver a marketing focus that supports enterprise goals while remaining profitable. Scan the competitor environment, for trends, initiatives and opportunities - provide relevant insights and help shape new solutions.
- Lead cross functional teams to deliver the India specific innovation and supply networks, strong claims pipelines, sustainability plans & effective in-store execution.
- Partner with Regional Marketing and externally with Global Agencies and Global Content/Media Partners to create bespoke solutions in content, marketing models and media partnerships
- Lead cross-agency team to develop an Integrated Marketing Communication Plan that is rooted in consumer insights. The regular works which are part of communication, such as platform agnostic creative ideas, scripts, creatives, activations and media plan, needs to be evolved as part of the overall. Build in stronger digital and analytics insights and optimization to make effective brand decisions.
- Lead a team of four brand managers. Inspire, direct, motivate, coach and develop the team to achieve/exceed business objectives, and ensure an appropriate cultural balance in the team. Be accountable for driving meaningful performance & development conversations with the team members, and commit to their performance enhancement, capability development & career growth in the organization.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications and Experience
- MBA from Premier institutes
- 10+ years of total experience, 5-6 years of those in Marketing, in reputed fast-moving consumer product companies, Prior beauty category experience will be an advantage
- A broader business understanding through cross functional exposure e.g., a stint in sales at the initial stage of the career is preferred
