Coldwell Banker Value Add Realty is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Franchise Development Manager to lead the expansion of our franchise network across the South region. This role goes beyond merely appointing new franchise units and affiliate partners; it also focuses on ensuring these franchisees become profitable and sustainable businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate, franchise development, and business management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Franchise Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and secure new franchisees and affiliate partners in the South region. Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve regional growth targets.
- Onboarding and Support: Guide new franchisees through the onboarding process, ensuring they understand and adhere to Coldwell Banker's operational standards and best practices.
- Profitability Oversight: Collaborate with franchisees to develop business plans, financial strategies, and marketing initiatives that drive profitability. Monitor performance metrics and provide ongoing support to optimize their business operations.
- Training and Development: Organize and conduct training programs to equip franchisees with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in their markets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape changes. Use insights to guide franchise growth strategies.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, providing them with consistent support and fostering a sense of community within the Coldwell Banker network.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all franchisees adhere to Coldwell Banker's brand standards, legal requirements, and ethical guidelines.
- Performance Reporting: Regularly report on franchise performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management. Recommend and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Proven experience in franchise development, real estate, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of business financials, with the ability to develop and analyze profit and loss statements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the South region.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
