The Role:
FP&A Analyst
Analyst will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and communicating key performance indicators (KPIs) and commercial metrics to senior executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and the Board of Directors. This role involves collaborating with finance, accounting, and sales teams to provide accurate, timely insights that inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Teamwork:
oCollaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Sales teams to provide timely and accurate reporting on commercial metrics such as bookings trends and churn, as well as finance metrics like spending trends and productivity.
oSupport FP&A with insightful analysis to inform strategic decisions by department leaders and corporate management.
oWork with internal teams to create and standardize consistent processes.
Reporting and Analysis:
oManage weekly, semi-weekly, and periodic reporting of metrics packages.
oGenerate regular reports and insights on key revenue metrics to support strategic decision-making, including monthly revenue trends for enterprise and non-enterprise accounts.
oProvide insights by telling the story during the report preparation process.
oIdentify and implement changes to enhance reporting processes, reducing preparation time and increasing insights.
oUse data analysis tools and business intelligence software to track commercial performance and trends.
oAssess company performance and strategy.
oReport performance trends to leadership teams.
Skills Required:
Analytical and process orientation skills
Strong skills using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Knowledge and use of Adaptive Insights and NetSuite as reporting tools a plus
Proficiency in tools like Salesforce CRM
Understanding of Software as a service (SaaS) metrics like ARR, and Churn
Ability to build trust within client groups and maintain confidentiality with sensitive
Data
Self-starter, team player who is highly motivated and creative
Excellent processing skills and attention to detail
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience
2-5 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, banking,
consulting, financial services or a related analytical role Proficient in Salesforce
CRM for reporting
Shift timings: 4 PM - 1 AM
