Job Summary :

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Food Technologist to join our product development team in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will be involved in preparing and testing recipes, working on new product launches, and ensuring the highest standards in taste and quality. The Chef will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create products that meet consumer demands and align with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Design and develop new bakery products, improving recipes and processes for taste, texture, nutrition, and shelf-life.
• Production Management: Oversee production trials and scale up recipes for large-scale production while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Ingredient Sourcing: Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality, organic ingredients that meet product specifications and quality criteria.
• Recipe Optimization: Innovate and refine recipes for cost-effectiveness, without compromising taste or quality.
• Process Improvement: Work closely with the production team to improve efficiency, scalability, and sustainability of baking processes.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all food products comply with industry standards, food safety regulations, and certification requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of product development trials, testing results, and production metrics.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years in food product development, with a specialized focus on production within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
• CTC will be industry standards, based on experience and expertise.
• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Food Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of baking techniques, ingredient functionality, and the science behind baking.
• Ability to troubleshoot baking issues and adjust recipes accordingly.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
• Creative and innovative mindset, with an understanding of food trends and consumer preferences.
