Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Floor Supervisor at Unique Overseas Export in Kolkata. The Floor Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing and training staff, providing excellent customer service, and driving sales. The Floor Supervisor will also be responsible for coaching and supporting the team to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on the floor to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies
• Conducting regular check-ins and team meetings to understand employees concerns
• Managing the inventory of goods held in storage facilities, including monitoring stock levels and ordering replacements when necessary
• Ensuring proper resource allocation, such as personnel, equipment and materials
• Tracking inventory levels and stock availability using inventory management software
• Performing basic data analysis to understand frequently occurring problems, determine their causes and design solutions to prevent them from reoccurring

Qualifications

• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of leather products and fashion trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Data entry skills Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
• Familiarity with POS systems and well versed in MS Word & MS Excel.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• BS degree in Business Administration
