Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership:
Oversee and motivate a team of floor staff, ensuring efficient and friendly service throughout the restaurant and bar.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities based on staff strengths and shift needs.
Provide coaching and support to develop staff skills and knowledge.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Operational Excellence:
Ensure adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for food and beverage service, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Conduct regular checks on food presentation, cleanliness, and table settings.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow and timely delivery of food.
  • Manage inventory and maintain adequate stock levels of supplies.
  • Scheduling and Attendance:
Develop floor staff schedules considering staff availability and operational needs.
  • Monitor staff attendance and address any issues promptly.
Ensure proper staffing levels throughout all shifts.
  • Financial Performance:
Minimize wasted resources and promote responsible use of equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with cash handling procedures and ensure cash register accuracy.
  • Positive Guest Experience:
Create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Ensure efficient seating and table management.
Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant and bar.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive work environment for all staff.
  • Stay informed about restaurant promotions and specials to effectively communicate with guests.
  • Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant or bar management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to high standards of quality and customer service.
Proficient in cash handling procedures.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,
  • 00 - RM5,000.00 per month
