V.Insight provides value added services to the owners by providing more inputs on the performance of the vessel and the associated machineries.
Prepare Analyse and comment on the Performances reports received from the vessel, to inform about the soundness of the machinery. Assist owners and Fleet cell in dealing with commercial liability reports to counter.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- To verify that the performance records of the main engine as per the maker's instructions.
- To monitor the machinery performance for accuracy and highlight possible errors.
- To compare the performance data with the shop trial and sea trial reports, and any deviation to report, along with remedial actions.
- To monitor the vessel's daily speed, fuel oil, Cylinder oil consumption and report to generate at the end of the month.
- To prepare the analysis report on aux engine performance reports.
- To generate Speed Vs Fuel consumption trend analysis for long periods as requested by the clients.
- To generate any other vessel specific reports as per client's requirement.
- To assist with any additional jobs as directed by the Line Manager.

- Class 2 or Class 3 Engineer Or BSC Marine Mechanical/Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture or equivalent recognised qualification
- Experienced user of MS Office.
- Flexibility and ability to work with various relevant departments within the company.
- Willing to adapt with the demands of a 24/7/365 operation.
- Self-motivated with Good communication (oral and written) skills,
- Good organizational and planning skills,
- Good analytical and problem solving skills,
