Job description
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to address any issues or deficiencies identified during the snagging process.
The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, interior fitout, or project management, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within specified timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive snagging inspections of completed construction and fitout works, identifying any defects, deficiencies, or deviations from design specifications.
- Document and prioritize snagging items, noting their location, nature, and severity, and communicate findings to relevant project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to rectify snagging items in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with quality standards and client requirements.
- Monitor and track the resolution of snagging items, maintaining accurate records of actions taken and verifying completion to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
- Liaise with clients, architects, designers, and other project stakeholders to address any concerns or requests related to the snagging and fitout process.
- Assist in the coordination of final fitout activities, including installation of fixtures, furnishings, and finishing touches, to ensure a seamless transition to project handover.
- Provide regular progress updates to project managers and senior management, highlighting any significant issues or challenges impacting project delivery.
- Conduct post-construction reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices to be applied to future projects.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality control standards, and environmental sustainability practices throughout the snagging and fitout process.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the snagging and fitout team, promoting a positive work environment and professional development opportunities.
