Job Overview
Jensen Hughes has a newly created position for an experienced
Fire & Life Safety Engineer - Hospitality .In this role you will be responsible for managing Fire and Life Safety projects across India , primarily in the hospitality sector while reporting to Senior leadership team in UAE. This is a Client facing role and a solid technical understanding on passive fire protection systems and life safety ,along with excellent communication and organisational skills would be the key criteria for selection
Responsibilities
- Management and implementation of a variety of Fire & Life Safety consulting projects across India while reporting to the Senior Management team based in UAE
- Satisfy client needs and project expectations by completing assigned tasks on schedule and within budget as the sole representative of Jensen Hughes
- Conduct building design and architectural plan reviews and analyses, including plan reviews,amendments and site inspections.
- Preparation and peer review of Fire Safety strategy report and other project-related technical reports.
- Develop fire protection strategies, performance-based design approaches, and alternative solutions to resolve client design issues.
- Effectively communicate with project team members, clients, and others.
- Travel across multiple client sites across India and travel to the locations in the Middle East and Asia as required
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Building Code and Passive Fire Protection systems and plans.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Civil, Mechanical or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven project management experience in Passive Fire Safety Engineering
- Sound knowledge on NFPA standards.
- CFPS certification preferred
- Ability to present clear and technically sound fire protection engineering strategies and plans.
- Ability to work well independently and to interact with other industry professionals, associated trades, and jurisdictional authorities.
- Hospitality sector experience preferred,though not mandatory
