Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor financial risks associated with various investment products, including equities, mutual funds, and more.
- Develop and implement risk assessment models to evaluate potential impacts on the company's financial health.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to predict the effects of market changes and economic events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk management strategies are aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure compliance and adapt risk management practices accordingly.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of proprietary risk management systems and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Financial Risk Analyst or in a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, financial markets, and investment products.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical software.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to financial risk management.
