FP&A CoE Hub Business Area Lead
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide reliable and timely inspection of financial results, budget, and forecasts.
Each day, you will contribute the ABB group management and other stakeholders at various organization levels in resolution
making processes. You will also showcase your expertise by assisting in the evaluation of the impact of strategic, financial, or other major investment conclusions.
The work model for the role is: onsite, - hybrid
This role is contributing to the ABB Services - Financial Planning and Analysis for measurement analytics in Bangalore.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Performing inspection of business performance versus budget and forecast.
- Performing benchmarking of key performance indicators with external and internal peers.
- Performing closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions.
- Working with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / Functions to understand and inspect
business scenarios.
- Performing cost / benefit study and inspect of inventories, NWC
- Preparing and examining ad-hoc reports as per division's / function's request.
- Examine of overhead under / over absorption indicating root cause.
- Assisting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning & forecasting.
- Assisting forex valuations, hedging, audits & Group on special projects.
- Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions
coordinating information requirements.
- Recommend changes of process standards and procedures to improve the timely performance of process activities
- Identify areas for process / report standardization across different countries, divisions and business units
Qualifications For The Role
- Experience required 3-7 Yrs
- Flexible with shifts - Morning Shift - 6AM - 3PM and 12PM - 9PM and 10:30 AM- 7:30 PM
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Degree CMA/ ICWA/CA/ MBA Finance
- Strong communication skills.
- Hands on experience in SAP FICO and COPA modules
- Experience with MS Office
