You will be working as Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist and will be part of Finance Services Business Area for Financial Planning & Analysis Services Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to FP&A CoE Hub Business Area Lead and will be responsible in providing Financial Planning and Controlling expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups and recommending actions to improve financial performance.
Your responsibilities
- Performing analysis of business performance versus Plan and forecast. Performing month end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions
- Working with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / functions to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance. Analysis of overhead under / over absorption indicating root cause
- Performing cost / benefit analysis and analysis of inventories, NWC and preparing ad-hoc reports as per business / function's request. Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning and forecasting
- Supporting audits, validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions
- Optimizing own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications and coordinating information requirements
- Identifying areas for process / report standardization across different countries, divisions and business units. Ensuring processes and controls within own area of responsibility are implemented in line with Group and unit requirements
- Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax / internal / external audits and reviews and SOPs for all activities performed
Your background
- CMA or CA qualified with minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in FP&A is preferable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with thorough / detail-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills and fluent in English
- Hands on experience in SAP FICO and COPA modules is an advantage
- Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries and self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality
