We are looking for an Associate to join our Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Center of Excellence team to supporting FPA-wide processes and projects, working closely with Business and Finance partners from revenue to expense to cash.

The Team: Our FP&A team drives decisions at all levels, from Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team strategy to manager-level tactical operations, by analyzing and reporting financial results and developing forecasts.
The FP&A Center of Excellence Transformation is a team of highly agile and visible team of trusted partners. We continuously create, improve, and partner to advance athena's forecasting, analysis, and reporting capabilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver forecasts, reports, and analysis on time with accuracy (monthly close, cost center/account variance, vendor planning, data updates & reconciliation, pixel perfect PowerPoint slides, etc)
- Own monthly revenue and/or expense analysis for accruals and reclasses; partner with the Accounting team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Identify and execute opportunities to optimize current reporting and develop better ways to assess business performance
- Maintain proper budget control, highlighting forecasted gaps
- Improve existing datasets, models, and reports to uncover new insights, simplify work, and/or improve user experience
- Support projects, including centralizing and standardizing work across the FPA team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis across the P&L
- Prior experience of working directly in a FP&A functional team is preferred
- Demonstrates the highest integrity with a track record of maintaining strict confidentiality
- Has an excellence mindset that delivers high quality results on time; has an obsession with getting the details right
- Develops trusting relationships across seniority levels and teams
- Communicates clearly with team and stakeholders
- Takes initiative; acts like an owner to identify and fix problems and build new capabilities
- Owns a track record of strong analytical problem-solving skills: manipulate data, build models, develop analysis, and communicate findings with a solid command of technology (Excel, Anaplan, PowerPoint, PowerBI, or similar tools)
- Able to work 2:30p-11:30pm IST
