Position:
Senior Analyst - Financial Modelling
Job Description:
- Co-ordinate with client and subsidiaries to gather and analyze financial information in relation to operating profit, working capital, Capex, refinancing and equity contribution against budgets and previous performance
- Assist client and subsidiaries in actualization and updating financial models for management decision making
- Perform variance analysis between actual results and budgets along with detailed explanations based on financial models
- Assist client and help create reports merging financial and operating results
- Develop and implement relevant performance management and reporting systems (e.g., management dashboard) and business analytics processes to track project performance and strategy implementation.
- Ensure the following:
- Accurate and timely submission of Updated financial models with validation from subsidiaries
- High quality data analysis to meet senior management requirements and provide insights into current operations and future forecasts
- Forecasts & projections are in-line with actual performance, to the extent possible
Ideal candidate:
a. Qualifications
- CFA / MBA (Finance) / CA / CWA / CMA (Mandatory qualification); and
- A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Good to have qualification)
b. Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role specifically catering to large infrastructure based projects.
c. Key Skillsets / attributes
- Deep understanding of various financial models and modelling techniques;
- Strong business acumen and critical thinking ability;
- Ability to work with large amounts of data and gather information from various stakeholders;
- Strong advanced Microsoft excel skills;
- Working knowledge of accounting;
- Ability and willingness to take ownership of tasks assigned;
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities;
- Ability to take ownership of the tasks assigned;
- Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to successfully manage priorities with attention to detail; and
- Problem solving mindset and solution-oriented approach.
- The role will require the candidate to work closely people from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
Compensation: The budget for the role is not fixed since the company is hiring for multiple levels. Rest assured, a good hike on your current salary will be provided.
