Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain detailed financial models including discounted cash flow (DCF), merger and acquisition (M&A) models, leveraged buyout (LBO) models, and valuation models.
Assist in the execution of transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises. Conduct thorough due diligence, prepare pitch materials, and support deal structuring.- Engage with clients to understand their strategic objectives and provide tailored financial advice. Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
Perform comprehensive industry and market research to support investment banking activities. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and economic factors.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and memorandums for internal stakeholders and clients. Ensure all materials are accurate, well-organized, and professionally presented.
Work closely with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to support the execution of deals and the development of client relationships. Contribute to team efforts and share best practices.- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the transaction process. Stay updated with industry regulations and compliance standards.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking or a related financial role, with a strong focus on financial modeling and valuation.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, including DCF, M&A, and LBO models.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters).- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be based in Bangalore, or willing to relocate.
