Financial Manager:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager with over 8+ years of expertise in managing the financial operations of an organization, particularly within the USA. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling day-to-day financial activities, including taxation, bookkeeping, responding to state notices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts, to managerial staff, offering insights and recommendations for further action.
- Tax Compliance: Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including preparing and filing tax returns, responding to state notices, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Bookkeeping: Oversee and maintain accurate bookkeeping records, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled promptly.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the company's budget, monitoring expenditures, and providing variance analysis.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, including cost analysis, pricing strategies, and profitability assessments, to support strategic decision-making.
- Investment Advising: Advise on investment activities and develop strategies to optimize the company's financial performance and long-term growth.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and liaise with auditors to facilitate financial audits and reviews.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, setting goals and ensuring the implementation of best practices in financial management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record in handling taxation, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
