Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Create and maintain comprehensive budgets and forecasts to ensure the financial sustainability of the business.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning, to inform strategic decisions.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks, including credit, market, and liquidity risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Management Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and other financial metrics, for senior management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax authorities, financial institutions, and investors to ensure compliance and maintain financial integrity.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, or financial analysis, demonstrating strong financial and analytical expertise.
- Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and risk management.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and industry best practices.
- Experience working with startups or venture capital-backed companies is highly desirable.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance is required.
