Role:
- Build, develop and troubleshoot quantitative financial models for a variety of structured finance asset classes, including ABS, CMBS, RMBS which are used by clients to analyse their portfolios
- Support client relationships by supporting structured finance cash flow models and data and performing analysis of fixed-income portfolios.
- Interpret and analyse legal documents on complex financial structures to model compliance reports, cash flow models and tests
- Work with the product development team to design, build and implement new features and functions for analytic and data products.
- Contribute and lead long term projects and initiatives that benefit the quality of client-facing products
- Participate in the implementation, customization and use of analytic solutions
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate (e.g. MBA, Master's from tier 1 or 2 universities) with an emphasis in engineering, computer science, math, finance, or a related quantitative field highly desired.
- Minimum of 2 to 5-year experience with at least 2+ years direct experience in Structured Finance modelling or financial engineering.
- Experience and ability reading complex investment documents.
- Strong quantitative skills and analytical problem-solving ability required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the confidence to interact with top financial professionals.
- Demonstrated initiative, enthusiasm and ability to learn quickly and excel as part of a dynamic team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
- Experience writing code using Microsoft Excel VBA, Python & SQL highly preferred
- Candidates will be tested on their programming and analytical thinking ability.
