Join us as the Financial Crime Services Platform Lead
- nWe're looking for someone with meaningful Financial Crime Knowledge, real influence and impact, superb organisational skills with brilliant technology and data capabilities to continue to improve how we detect and prevent financial crime in our Financial Crime Hub
- nYou'll be leading a team of over 200 technologists with the responsibility for a budget of over 20million annually, making sure we help society stay safe and prevent financial crime
- nYou'll also be delivering, owning and maintaining the platform's operational stability and performance technology, allowing excellent exposure for you and your work
- nWe're offering this role at director level
nWe'll look to you to own and drive the Strategy, Plan, Build, Operation and Control of the Financial Crime Services platforms which include Transaction Filtering, Name Screening, Anti-Tax Evasion, Anti Bribery & Corruption, and Adverse Press Check.
nYou'll own the remediation of legacy technical issues and the simplification and improvement of the platform architecture and technology.
nYou'll also be:
- nDriving engineering excellence to continually improve the design and deployment of platforms to improve platform speed, quality and safety
- nStriving for 10x faster and 4x more productivity across your platforms
- nTaking ownership of the financial, commercial and flow performance of the platform
- nManaging the platform risk culture, making sure that teams effectively collaborate to mitigate risk
- nDelivering the regulatory reporting and managing the relevant budgets provided
nIn this role, you'll need to have in-depth domain or platform product knowledge and experience along with proven architecture, engineering and agile delivery capabilities. Operational risk management, financial management, stakeholder management, vendor partnership, collaboration and negotiation skills will be essential.
nYou'll also have a strong commercial acumen with an acute understanding of the business landscape.
nIn addition, you'll have:
- nExcellent and proven leadership skills, including Agile and servant leadership experience, with proven experience of running large, multi-locational teams to deliver business value, and keep platforms reliable, resilient, stable and compliant to technology control standards
- nA proven track record of architecting, engineering and delivering large, multi-year programmes that use loosely coupled, cloud-based architectures that are data, rules and event-driven
- nExperience of Machine Learning with good interpersonal and communication skills
