Financial Controller

As a Finance Controller, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the company's financial health, compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. P&L Management
Oversee the preparation and analysis of the Profit and Loss statement.
Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability to assess the company's financial performance.
Identify areas for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, or efficiency Improvements.

2. Balance Sheet Oversight:
Manage the preparation and accuracy of the Balance Sheet and related financial statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor assets, liabilities, and equity to maintain a healthy financial position.

3. Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and implement financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth.
Provide insightful analysis of financial performance and key metrics to support strategic decision-making.

4. Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

5. Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize working capital.
Implement effective cash management policies and procedures.

6. Risk Management:
Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in financial regulations that may impact the company.

7. Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions.

8. Audit and Compliance:
Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls.

Qualifications:
CA Qualified with min 8 yrs of post qualification experience
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in IT industry with focus on P&L and Balance Sheet Analysis.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Effective communication and leadership abilities.
