Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This position will work directly under the Director of Finance and play a crucial role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate insights effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the Director of Finance in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate business initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights.
- Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to enhance profitability.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree or CFA is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
