Overview
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role is responsible for day to day administration required by the Financial Accounts department with reference to the production of monthly accounts for the funds
The role will form part of and collaboratively contribute to the Finance Funds Solutions team.
Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities
Operations management
To work on Management fee schedules for Fund solutions on excel spreadsheets.
To work on Investment management fee model and Fund solution fees model.
To maintain books of accounts and post accounting entries for Fund solutions.
Maintain ledgers during the period, clearing and offsetting.
To assist in Month-end reporting schedules and do variance analysis of various P&L heads.
To assist in providing any Management/Analytical information for Internal & External use.
To work in close co-ordination with Accounts team based in London and assist in any ad-hoc request with regards to the above tasks.
To answer any queries from internal/external clients on a timely basis in relation to the above tasks.
To assist in LFS month end report running and production of accounts.
Liaise with critical internal/external parties (Investment Managers/Third Party Fund Administrators), etc.
Governance & Risk
Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
Support Link Group assurance programs that deliver effective risk management and compliance practices
General administrative duties as required
Experience & Personal Attributes
MBA in Finance with 5+ years of experience
Proficient in Microsoft excel.
Should have experience of working in MNC/Shared service setup with Global teams
Ability to think laterally and apply previous experience to new problems & displays adaptability to change
Methodical approach with an attention to detail
Ability to maintain quality and manage workload in order to meet deadlines.
Well organised and able to prioritise their own workload
Ability to work both in a team and individually
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Personal commitment to and visible role modelling of the organisation's behaviours and values.
Working knowledge in SAP is preferred.
