nCiti Finance is responsible for the firm's financial management and related controls. The team comprises disciplines including Treasury, Tax, Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis, and manages and partners on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi's compliance with financial rules and regulations.

nThe Finance Reporting Specialist is an entry level position responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of reports in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

nResponsibilities:

• nSupport the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting
• nAssist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period
• nPerform relatively complex clerical assignments
• nEnsure quality of service of self and others
• nRecommend new options to enhance productivity in accordance with Citi guidelines
• nExchange moderately complex information with others to ensure comprehension and provide basic assistance
• nService an expansive range of products and services
• nAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

nQualifications:

• n2-4 years of relevant experience
• nAbility to execute discretion when exchanging complex or sensitive information to others
• nAbility to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• nConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• nBasic knowledge of the organization, the business and its policies required
• nDetail oriented

nEducation:

• nHigh School diploma or equivalent
