The successful candidate will oversee the full spectrum of the finance function of our entity in India, responsible for the accuracy of accounting records, management and statutory reporting, audit, tax and other regulatory compliances
Responsibilities (India operations):
- Handle the GL function
- Oversee AR AP functions ensuring accurate timely record of financial transactions.
- Prepare balance sheet schedules on monthly basis
- Manage and ensure timely proper month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare full sets of financial statements for management and statutory reporting
- Ensure local VAT and corporate tax compliance
- Oversee the coordination and execution of the local audit, monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements and statutory financial reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in finance processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in financial operations.
- Collaborate with HQ to manage local operations working capital needs and prepare cash flow forecast.
- Stay updated on FRS requirements, ensuring timely implementation and compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Accountancy. Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in finance and accounting roles in a similar capacity, including some years of audit experience.
- Experience with working in fast paced environment.
- Strong understanding of financial standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
