Job Title: Finance Manager- Position Type- Full Time (In-Office)
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the organization's financial activities, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of financial management principles and practices to ensure the organization's financial stability and profitability. The Finance Manager will also provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making and long-term business planning.
Directly responsible for managing day do day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Bank account reconciliation with books of accounts.
Managing TDS, PT, PF compliances.
Monthly monitoring and review of all the compliances as applicable
Compliance under Companies Act i.e. filing returns, ensure compliance under Labor laws, contract labor regulation act and other statutory compliances. Responsible for obtaining required permissions to start the business from various authorities like business licenses, registration for GST etc.
Independently handle GST compliances like Filing GSTR-3B and GSTR-1 and obtaining GST Registrations.
Handle drafting replies to SCN and Filing refund Application. Also coordinating with consultants in getting the order.
Reconciliation of revenue and expenses as per books with taxes paid and disclosed in returns as well as disclosures made in audited financial statements. Reconciling GSTR-2A/GSTR-6A with GL.
Evaluating all existing & new business opportunities along with business teams from a legal and regulatory perspective with a clear understanding of legal implications of all applicable acts like companies Act, Competition Act, FDI regulations, RBI regulations, other content & IP related Act etc
Reporting to management regarding key areas concerning the risk of business with reference to Statutory compliance and recommendations to mitigate the same.
Acts as SPOC for legal due diligence while interacting with credit rating agencies, lenders and investors
Preparation of financial statements, dealing with statutory auditors and managing the books closing activities.
Preparation of monthly payroll and tax computation of employees, timely issuance of Form 16 to employees.
Handled reconciliation of Inter-company transactions, Balance sheet items and Profit & loss items, Recognition of FX Gain/loss and revaluation.
Finalization of annual accounts and preparation of Company's financial statements in compliance with applicable GAAP and Accounting Policies and monthly financial statements.
Experience in Financial Due Diligence will be preferred.
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in Tally ERP, QuickBooks software and should be proficient in MS Office.
Education: B.Com /CA/M.Com/ Any other Equivalent Qualification.
