We are recruiting a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee the Finance and Accounts functions in a group of UK, Europe and UAE entities. The role will be based in Bengaluru, India. The businesses operate in the textile and clothing manufacturing industry and is part of a multinational manufacturing and sourcing platform. The role reports to the CFO and managing a team of finance executives.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-day bookkeeping, hands-on managing accounts receivable, accounts payable and treasury functions.
2. Support the integration and development of SAP for new verticals.
3. Ensure timely and accurate financial (MIS) reporting on a monthly and annual basis as per the group standards.
4. Monitor and control monthly business performance against budget and forecast and liaise with key stakeholders to deliver targets.
5. Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes and support the CFO as needed.
6. Assist the vertical CEO's and CFO with managing supplier contracts (e.g. rent, utilities), equipment leasing/purchasing and negotiation with suppliers.
7. Ensure that the PDS Group policies are implemented and followed in all existing and new verticals.
8. Work closely with the Group Finance, Treasury and Audit teams.
9. UK and UAE VAT / tax compliance.
To succeed, you will be a fully qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience of managing accounts, banking and commercial aspects, ideally within the retail-goods, wholesale supply and multi-company environment.
Fluent in English and working knowledge of SAP (ECC 6 or HANA) is a must!
This is a busy and varied role and therefore the successful candidate will be able to multi-task, prioritise and meet strict deadlines whilst having excellent attention to detail. Furthermore, you will have strong interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.
