Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance department and contribute to the financial success of our organization. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in finance, accounting, and management, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a results-oriented professional who can lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive financial efficiency and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and plans aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, interpret trends, and provide insightful recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare financial models, projections, and forecasts to support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance and variances, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and allocate resources effectively.
- Prepare periodic forecasts and analyze actual results against the budget, identifying and addressing any deviations.
- Implement cost-control measures and optimization strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Present financial reports to senior management and board members, providing clear and concise explanations of financial performance.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure adequate funds for daily operations and future growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions to optimize banking services and funding options.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Promote professional development and training opportunities for team members.
- Oversee internal control processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual financial audits and facilitate audit processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and tax regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
