Designation - Manager Finance (Plant Controller)
Location - Shirwal, Pune
Experience Range - 7 - 10 years
Duties & Responsibilities -
- Overall Plant Controller function, Supervision of purchase/expenses accounting, payments to vendors including MSME compliances and Accounts Payable management.
- Payroll Accounting - verification of Payroll, TDS, PF, ESIC, and PT on monthly basis.
- Banking supervision of day-to-day transactions including import-exports/forex transactions, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Closure of monthly, quarterly and yearly Accounts and preparation of MIS reports ensuring accuracy and timeliness. End to End-to-end accounts up to Finalization.
- Preparation of Budget and monitoring of actual performance vs Budget, preparation of various analytical reports on Plant performance and profitability to enable timely business decision-making. Continuous focus on identifying Profitability improvement projects.
- Taxation matters - ensuring routine compliances, submission of periodic returns, assistance in audits and assessments relating to GST, Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing.
- Insurance matters - timely renewals of insurance policies, coordination with Insurance company/broker for timely updating of related information, claim processing, etc.
- Capex projects assistance in the preparation of related Project/Business Plans, facilitating approval of Capex, Fixed Assets Accounting including maintenance of Fixed Assets Register.
- Audits - ensuring timely completion of statutory audits, internal Audits, IFC, and IFRS compliances.Import / Exports: required knowledge of Imports / Exports transactions, benefits, etc.
- Implementation of SAP S4/HANA including co-ordination with internal departments for clarity on requirements and timely completion of the project.
Other Important Aspects Considering Future Projects -
- Must have - experience working in Tally ERP + SAP environment.
- Desirable - experience of migration from legacy accounting system to SAP S4/HANA.
- Good business acumen with cost consciousness and an eye for detailing.
- Good communication skills verbal as well as written.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach and a positive mindset.
- Good team-player with experience working in Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural Teams.
Educational Qualification / Requirements -
- A Commerce graduate or post-graduate with CA-Inter / MBA (Finance).
- 10 to 12 years experience in a reputed organization engaged in PharmaPackaging, manufacturing or engineering sector.
- Must have - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Desirable - experience of presentations to Senior Management. 4) Experience of working on financial analytics / Global reporting applications.
