Job Description
Experience developing instructional materials, and training using Xyleme, Captivate, MS Office Suite and Abode Suite products.
Designer will collaborate with team on use of images, and graphics that they will use to design creative materials.
Responsibilities
General
- Liaise with Global L&D representatives
- Work with Subject Matter Experts and Ford internal customers
- Ensure training meets Ford L&D quality standards
- Select and use appropriate tools and apply adult learning principles
- Apply graph illustration principles to custom materials
- Create and maintain a project timeline
- Conduct review meetings
- Participate in review meetings
Needs Assessment/Analysis
- Assess learner's needs using appropriate methods and tools using standard needs assessment process
- Create a needs assessment document including proposed solutions
- Perform a task/job analysis and prepare for design
- Review existing course architecture and curriculum
Design
- Create design document and structure for curriculum
- Produce output in format compatible with Ford environment
- Obtain requisite approvals
Development
- Develop materials using appropriate software tools and graphics
- Manage technical evaluation process
- Confirm proper functional operation of course or materials in LMS or Xyleme
- Manage pilots and testing
- Adjust training as necessary based on feedback
Implementation/Evaluation
- Design and develop training and training evaluations
- Archive training when complete
- Review evaluation data for potential course changes and adjustments
Qualifications
BE or equivalent degree / certifications in Graphics designing and Animation
Experience in creating animated training materials
Good communication and articulation skills
