Finance Head

Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Head to oversee our financial operations and provide strategic financial guidance to the organization. The ideal candidate will have 11-15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of leading finance teams and driving financial growth. This position is based in India.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations of the organization, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the organization's goals and objectives.
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to senior management and department heads.
• Manage and mentor the finance team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure a high level of performance and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement cross-functional initiatives and projects.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as banks, auditors, and investors.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 11-15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of managing and developing finance teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements in India.
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial software, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CFA , or equivalent are preferred.

Job Description

Preparation of Cash flow & Fund flow by focusing Cost reduction with the help

of effective cash management.

Tracking budget and accounting information, such as billing, collections and

tax information

Co-ordination with auditors/consultants for getting proper advice on various

issues.

MIS Review and supportive actions on the same.

Process improvement initiative - Supervision & Checking of work on test basis

Other Assignments as and when assigned by Directors.

Managing the end-to-end audit process of current financial systems.
