Role Description
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company. This role includes managing financial planning, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior management to implement strategies and ensure the company's financial stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights.
- Monitor and report on financial performance against targets and benchmarks.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts.
- Track and manage budget variances and provide recommendations.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems and tools.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
- Conduct regular audits and financial reviews.
Strategic Planning:
- Assist in developing long-term financial strategies and goals.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior management to drive business growth and profitability.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor the finance team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure the finance team is aligned with the company's objectives.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage the company's cash flow and liquidity.
- Optimize the use of working capital and financing options.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and Central financial regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA/CFA preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial management or a related role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
