About the company:

MediSim VR is a MedTech company founded in 2018 with the sole agenda of revolutionizing medical training in India. MediSim VR combines the benefits of Virtual Reality (VR) and simulation to deliver immersive learning for skill training and training for surgical tasks. A resident company of IIT-Madras, it holds the merit of being the first Indian company to be a resident company of Johnson & Johnson Innovation Labs, Boston.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and legal matters. As highlighted below, you will be responsible for various financial tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our finance department.

  • Responsibilities:
Invoice Management: Ensuring the billing process is efficient, payments are made on time, renewals are tracked, and all financial transactions are accurately recorded and monitored.
  • Vendor Management : Keeping records of all invoices received from vendors, obtaining necessary approvals, and processing payments in a timely manner.
Accounting and bookkeeping: Recording all financial transactions accurately, regularly updating the books of accounts, and systematically maintaining and organizing financial records for better business decisions.
Audit Assistance: Engaging with the auditors, providing them with necessary documents, and ensuring the audit process is completed promptly.Statutory Compliance: Ensuring the company complies with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including GST (Goods and Services Tax) and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source). It also involves ensuring periodic and timely filing of tax returns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: The job involves interacting with stakeholders, employees, clients, etc. The candidate is expected to communicate effectively across all mediums.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, investments, and asset management.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or advanced certification (e.g., CA, CS, CFA) with 4+ years of experience.
  • Tally skills
Strong MS Office skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in financial reporting, analysis, and planning.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Experience with lenders, investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities is desirable.
