We are seeking a skilled Finance Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and accounting. This role involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and team management.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Audit Coordination: Manage relationships with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance and timely completion of audits.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation of tax returns.
- Internal Controls: Design and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
- Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Zoho) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
